Tom Holland recently revealed in an interview with Men’s Health why he avoids walking the red carpet at Zendaya’s movie premieres.
Tom explained that he doesn’t want to overshadow Zendaya’s moment, saying, “It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
While the couple frequently attends events together for projects they’ve co-starred in, like Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy, Holland opts to stay out of the spotlight for her solo films like Challengers and Dune.
Holland and Zendaya, who went public with their relationship in 2021, are set to spend much of 2025 filming together..
They’ll star in both Spider-Man 4 and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, both slated for release in 2026.
Fans can expect to see the pair on red carpets for these projects, continuing their on-screen chemistry that began with their roles in the Spider-Man franchise.
Reflecting on his future, Holland shared his thoughts about stepping away from acting when he starts a family.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he said. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
Zendaya, speaking to Vanity Fair last year, praised Holland’s work ethic and passion, calling their collaboration on set “strangely comfortable” and “second nature.”
The couple will join an ensemble cast, including Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway, for Nolan’s The Odyssey, set to release on July 17, 2026. Meanwhile, Spider-Man 4 is scheduled for release a week later on July 24, 2026.
