Tom Hardy’s ‘Havoc’ Will Make You Appreciate ‘The Raid’ Even More

Tom Hardy at Netflix Film - Havoc

Tom Hardy’s Havoc on Netflix has earned attention for its intense action scenes, but its story and CGI fall short.

The movie’s action style calls to mind another legendary series: The Raid and The Raid 2 by Gareth Evans.

These films, with their brutal martial arts choreography, set the bar for modern action movies.

While Havoc is enjoyable, it lacks the depth and scale of The Raid, which remains a standout for its fight scenes and gripping narrative.

If you loved the action in Havoc, revisiting The Raid is a must. Both films showcase Evans’ genius, but The Raid films are in a class of their own.

The Raid and The Raid 2 aren’t on streaming services but can be rented for a small fee. Even if a Raid 3 isn’t coming, the original films still define the genre.
