Apple is gearing up for a 2025 lineup focused on low-cost and entry-level devices, introducing upgrades and features previously reserved for premium models. This shift includes OLED displays, Face ID, advanced wireless tech, and in-house chips.

Among the eight devices expected are the MacBook Air (M4), iPhone SE 4, iPad 11th generation, AirTag 2, Command Center, HomePod mini 2, Apple TV 4K (4th gen), and Apple Watch SE 3.

The MacBook Air will feature the M4 chip with 25% faster performance, support for two external displays, and a 12MP webcam with Center Stage. Expected in spring 2025, it will likely maintain a $1,099 starting price.

The iPhone SE 4 will adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, USB-C, and a 48MP camera. Powered by the A18 chip with Apple’s first in-house 5G modem, it’s expected to cost between $400 and $500 and launch in March 2025.

The 11th-gen iPad will keep its 10.9-inch display but upgrade to the A17 Pro or A18 chip with 8GB of RAM. Launching in spring 2025, it may start at $349, with a potential base storage boost to 128GB.

The AirTag 2 will include a better Ultra Wideband chip for enhanced tracking, Vision Pro integration, and anti-stalking features. Launching mid-2025, it’s expected to cost $29.

Apple’s Command Center will debut as a smart home hub with a 7-inch display, speakers, camera, and proximity sensors. Running on a new homeOS, it will support widgets and Siri. Launching around March 2025, its price will likely compete with the $90 Echo Show.

The HomePod mini 2 will feature improved audio, a Wi-Fi 6E chip, and better handoff capabilities. Expected mid-2025, it will likely retain its $99 price.

The Apple TV 4K (4th gen) could feature an A16 chip, Wi-Fi 6E, and possibly a FaceTime camera. It may launch in 2025 with a reduced starting price of $99.

Lastly, the Apple Watch SE 3 will have a faster chip, larger displays, and possibly a plastic casing. Launching in late 2025, it could cost $249 or less to appeal to younger users.

These updates reflect Apple’s strategy to enhance affordability without compromising innovation.
