Oppo has officially confirmed that its upcoming Find N5—which the company claims is the world’s thinnest foldable phone—will launch globally on February 20.
In the US, the device is expected to be released under the OnePlus Open 2 branding.
Oppo has been teasing the Find N5 for weeks, highlighting key features like:
The Find N5 will launch in Cosmic Black and Misty White, while the Twilight Purple color will remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
Oppo’s Find N5 isn’t the only ultra-thin device making waves.
Samsung has teased its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, focusing on an ultra-slim design.
Apple is rumored to launch the iPhone 17 Air in September, expected to be 5.5mm thick, replacing the Plus model in its lineup.
For comparison, the thinnest iPhone ever made was the iPhone 6 (6.9mm), but Apple later made iPhones thicker to accommodate larger batteries, improved cameras, and Face ID hardware.
With foldable phones getting slimmer, Oppo’s Find N5 is set to lead the charge when it launches on February 20.
