The Weeknd has once again claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200, with his album Hurry Up Tomorrow debuting at No. 1 on the chart dated February 15, 2025.
The album earned an impressive 490,500 equivalent album units in its first week, marking the largest week for any album since Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department debuted at No. 1 in May 2024 with 2.61 million units.
The launch also saw the biggest sales week for an R&B/hip-hop album since Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted at No. 1 in August 2023.
Hurry Up Tomorrow has been released in multiple formats, including a nine-song standard album, an 11-song edition across physical formats (CD, vinyl, cassette), and a 22-track deluxe edition.
The album’s availability across numerous variants—such as signed editions, vinyls, CDs, and cassettes—helped fuel its robust first-week performance.
Additionally, Bad Bunny’s Debà Tirar Más Fotos dropped to No. 2, while SZA’s SOS slipped to No. 3, marking a slight dip in their popularity after the Grammy exposure.
