Teclast has launched the M50 Mini tablet worldwide, offering an 8.7-inch compact device running Android 14. The global release, however, comes with some unusual features and pricing differences.
The Wi-Fi-only model costs $45 and uses a Unisoc T616 chipset. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Meanwhile, the LTE version, priced at $179, has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage but uses a weaker Unisoc T606 chipset.
Adding to the confusion, the LTE model has two display options: one with a 60 Hz refresh rate and another with 90 Hz. Oddly, both cost the same.
The M50 Mini has an 8.7-inch screen with an 800 x 1,340-pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
While the tablet is listed globally, it seems not yet fully available for purchase. Some errors might still exist in Teclastโs product listings.
Teclast recently launched the T70 tablet, known for its large 14-inch display. The M50 Mini offers a much smaller alternative for compact tablet users.
