Technics, a Panasonic-owned brand, has released its latest flagship earbuds, the EAH-AZ100, at CES 2025.
These earbuds, priced at $300, are the first to feature Magnetic Fluid drivers, a new technology designed to reduce sound distortion.
Magnetic Fluid Drivers: These drivers use oil-like fluid with magnetic particles to keep distortion low and deliver clear, warm bass.
Wide Frequency Range: The earbuds can reach as low as 3Hz, which allows users to feel ultra-low bass vibrations.
Dolby Atmos Support: Includes spatial audio head tracking for an immersive listening experience.
Advanced Noise Cancellation: Customizes performance based on your ear shape and improves voice clarity during calls with Voice Focus AI.
Modern Connectivity:
The EAH-AZ100 offers up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, with an additional 28 hours from the wireless charging case.
However, using high-quality audio settings like LDAC reduces battery life to about 7 hours. The earbuds are IPX4 water-resistant, though the case does not have this rating.
Technics aims to challenge big names like Sony and Bose with the EAH-AZ100. Building on the success of its earlier EAH-AZ80, the company hopes to deliver a more refined sound experience with this new model.
The Technics EAH-AZ100 is available for purchase starting today. Audiophiles and casual users alike can now explore this innovative technology and decide if it lives up to its promise.
