Stray Kids‘ Felix has officially been chosen as the new brand model for Gong Cha, the popular global bubble tea franchise. The announcement was made on May 31, 2025, and Felix will begin promotional activities starting next month.
This marks a rare move by Gong Cha, which usually selects actors as their ambassadors — such as Lee Jong-suk, Park Seo-joon, Lee Seung-gi, and Song Kang.
Although Rowoon from SF9 previously modeled for the brand, his main focus has been acting. Felix, however, is known primarily as a K-pop idol, making his selection a unique and strategic choice.
Felix is currently on Stray Kids’ massive ‘dominATE’ world tour, performing 55 shows in 34 cities worldwide. The tour is expected to draw 2.2 million fans, making it the largest K-pop tour in history by attendance. Gong Cha is likely aiming to tap into this global popularity to reach younger and international audiences.
Fans have often spotted Felix enjoying Gong Cha drinks, which adds authenticity to the partnership. His image matches the brand’s youthful and trendy appeal.
Stray Kids will perform at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles from today until June 1, then continue across 10 North American cities and 6 European cities in July, with more than 20 stadium shows remaining.
