Stranger Things Season 5

Netflix is reportedly planning to release ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 in two parts. Fans may get the first episodes in October 2025, with the rest coming in November 2025.

Leaked Release Information

Fans discovered hidden information suggesting that Season 5 could launch on November 27, 2025, during the Thanksgiving weekend.

This date aligns with Netflix’s usual pattern of premiering big shows during the holidays. However, this date is not confirmed, as Netflix has not made any official announcements.

Netflix has also taken the media page for ‘Stranger Things’ offline, adding mystery to the release plans.

What to Expect from the Split Release

This split format is not new for ‘Stranger Things.’ Season 4 followed a similar plan, with episodes dropping in May 2022 and the final episodes in July 2022.

The strategy has worked well for Netflix’s biggest shows, creating more excitement and giving fans time to speculate between drops.

Fans are also excited for Stranger Things Day on November 6, which Netflix often uses to share major updates. In 2024, Netflix released the episode titles and launched special merchandise for the show on this day.

Why Is the Wait So Long?

The long wait for Season 5 is due to several delays. Filming, which was originally planned for 2023, was pushed back because of the writers’ and actors’ strikes.

Production finally began in January 2024 and wrapped up in December 2024. The extensive post-production work, due to the scale of the final season, also contributes to the delay.

Fall 2025 Netflix Lineup

If the release rumors are true, Fall 2025 will be packed with exciting shows. Along with ‘Stranger Things,’ Netflix is expected to release new seasons of Wednesday and One Piece.

Would you prefer the entire season at once, or do you enjoy the suspense of split releases? Share your thoughts!
