Netflix’s hit series ‘Squid Game’ will return with Season 3 this month, bringing the story to an emotional and action-packed end.
At a press conference on June 9 in Seoul, director Hwang Dong Hyuk and the main cast spoke about what fans can expect. Lee Jung Jae, who plays Gi Hun, shared that his character will change in Season 3.
“After the pain of losing his friend, Gi Hun returns with stronger determination. He is ready to fight against the system,” he said.
Lee Byung Hun, who plays the Front Man, explained that this season is about the final clash between Gi Hun and the leaders behind the deadly games. “Season 3 will show their full confrontation. It’s dramatic, emotional, and brings the story to a real ending,” he said.
‘Squid Game 3’ will follow Gi Hun as he returns to the games after his loss, ready to take down the organization. It will also reveal what happens to other survivors and the secrets of the Front Man’s past.
The series is set to premiere on June 27 and will serve as the final chapter after the huge success of Seasons 1 and 2.
