Squid Game Season 3 - Player 222 and 333

Squid Game Season 3 Proves Thanos Was Right About Player 333

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Squid Game season 3.

Squid Game season 3 revealed that Player 333 was exactly what Thanos said he was from the start. In season 2, viewers felt sorry for Myung-gi (Player 333) when Thanos and his gang bullied him. But season 3 shows that Thanos saw through Player 333’s innocent act.

Player 333’s Dark Past

Player 333 ran a YouTube channel called MG Coin about cryptocurrency. He convinced his followers to invest in a crypto scam. Many people lost their money and ended up in the deadly games because of him. Instead of taking responsibility, he abandoned his pregnant girlfriend Jun-hee and disappeared.

He Learned Nothing

Even after seeing how his actions hurt people, Player 333 didn’t change. When he met Jun-hee in the games, he only cared about combining their prize money for more risky investments. He didn’t focus on her safety or their unborn baby.

Jun-hee quickly realized he still only cared about money. She distanced herself from him after seeing his true intentions.

The Final Betrayal

Player 333’s greed reached its peak in the final game. He was willing to kill his own baby to win the grand prize. Only Gi-hun’s intervention saved the child.

His story shows how unchecked greed can destroy a person’s humanity. Player 333 started with some good qualities but let his desire for money consume him completely.

Thanos may have been a villain, but he correctly identified Player 333 as someone who would sacrifice anything for personal gain.
