Shadow Hearts Might Get a Re-Release Soon

Universal Entertainment recently filed a trademark for “Shadow Hearts,” sparking speculation about a potential re-release, remaster, or even a reboot.

This could also mean the game may appear on the new PlayStation Plus service, making it easier to access.

The Shadow Hearts series, known for its unique setting during WWI and the Prohibition era, follows Yuri, a demon-morphing protagonist, and features the distinctive Judgement Ring combat system.

The original game (2003) was followed by two sequels on the PS2.

Though no remake or sequel is planned, this trademark suggests the series may make a comeback, possibly bringing the classic JRPGs to modern platforms.
