SEVENTEEN and EXO Follow Behind BTS in 3rd Gen Boy Group Poll

In a recent fan poll ranking the best 3rd generation K-pop boy groups, BTS emerged as the clear favorite, securing 40% of the total votes. The survey focused on groups that debuted between 2012 and 2017—a period widely recognized for reshaping the global K-pop scene.

BTS received 1,405 votes, taking the top spot by a wide margin. The group, known for its record-breaking achievements and international influence, continues to dominate public opinion nearly a decade after their debut.

EXO claimed the third spot with 12% (428 votes). As one of SM Entertainment’s powerhouse groups, EXO helped set the stage for K-pop’s international expansion during the mid-2010s.

In second place was SEVENTEEN, who earned 18% of the votes (649 total). Known for their strong performance skills and self-producing abilities, SEVENTEEN remains one of the most respected acts in the industry.

Coming in fourth was A.C.E, with 10% (358 votes), followed by NCT in fifth place, garnering 6% (217 votes). Both groups have built solid fan bases with their experimental concepts and dynamic performances.

The poll reflects not only popularity but the lasting impact these groups have had on fans worldwide. As K-pop continues to evolve, the legacy of these 3rd generation groups remains strong.
