Selena Gomez has announced the release of her new album, I Said I Love You First, scheduled for March 21, 2025. Along with the announcement, Gomez dropped the first single, “Scared of Loving You,” giving fans a taste of what’s to come from this highly anticipated project.
The album is a collaboration with her fiancé, renowned producer Benny Blanco, who has worked with global superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna.
Blanco also shared his excitement for the album on social media, posting behind-the-scenes clips from their photo shoot and expressing his joy at spending his life with Gomez.
The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, has previously teamed up on singles like “Single Soon” and “I Can’t Get Enough.” Gomez, reflecting on her relationship with Blanco, shared in a recent interview that this is the safest she’s ever felt in a relationship and sees a future with him.
This marks Gomez’s return to music after her involvement in the film Emilia Pérez, which has sparked controversy due to resurfaced social media posts from the film’s star.
However, Gomez remains proud of her work in the film, saying she has no regrets and would “do this movie over and over again” if she could.
