Apple TV+’s sci-fi series Invasion is climbing streaming charts worldwide following the debut of its third season on August 22.
Data from FlixPatrol shows the series is currently in the Top 10 in 99 countries and territories, including the United States, where it has remained in the Top 5 since release.
The show, co-created by David Weil and Simon Kinberg, first premiered in 2021. It follows an alien invasion seen through the eyes of five ordinary people across different parts of the world.
The main cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj. Season 3 also introduces Erika Alexander as a new series regular.
Although the series received mixed reviews in its earlier seasons — with a 57% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes — it has developed a loyal fan base. The third season picks up after the season 2 finale, with the characters navigating personal struggles while facing a growing alien threat.
Apple TV+ has steadily expanded its sci-fi catalogue with titles such as Severance, Silo, Dark Matter, and For All Mankind. Invasion is now emerging as one of the platform’s strongest returning series.
New episodes of Invasion season 3 are released every Friday through October 24.
