Samsung is introducing 45W charging to its Galaxy A series. This feature has previously been available only in the company’s flagship models. Now, it’s coming to more affordable phones.

The first phone to support 45W charging is the Galaxy A56. It has been certified in China and will likely launch in March 2025.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A56 with a new Exynos 1580 chipset. This chip offers better performance with its three-cluster CPU and AMD’s RDNA 3 GPU.

The Galaxy A56 will also feature an upgraded selfie camera. The main camera setup will stay the same, with a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MP macro camera.

The phone will run Android 15 out of the box. It will also offer an 8 GB RAM option, providing more multitasking power.

The introduction of 45W charging in the A series is a big step for Samsung. It shows the company is ready to compete in the mid-range phone market with faster charging speeds.

This change follows the success of the Galaxy M55, C55, and F55 models, which already support 45W charging.

With the Galaxy A56, Samsung continues to improve its mid-range offerings, making faster charging more accessible for users.
