Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 in early July at an in-person event in New York, according to a new leak from South Korea’s The JoongAng.
This timeline matches last year’s launch of the Fold6 and Flip6 on July 10, making it likely we’ll see the next-gen foldables around the same time.
The report also hints at the possible debut of the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Samsung’s long-rumored tri-fold device, adding extra excitement to the upcoming event.
Both the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are tipped to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB storage. They’ll run One UI 8 out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 will reportedly have a 6.5-inch cover screen and a larger 8.2-inch main display, while being slimmer than its predecessor—4.5mm unfolded and 9.5mm folded. It’s expected to feature a new 200MP main camera and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging.
As for the Z Flip7, it will likely offer a larger 4-inch cover screen and a 6.85-inch main display, with a modest 4,174mAh battery and the same 25W charging. The camera setup appears unchanged from the Flip6, featuring 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide lenses.
With multiple devices expected and some exciting upgrades, Samsung’s July launch event could be one of its biggest yet for foldables.
