Samsung is set to make significant changes with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, following the mixed reception of its predecessor.
A new report reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a much thinner design, measuring just 9.5mm when closed, compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s 12.1mm thickness.
According to data from @OnLeaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have dimensions of 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm when opened.
This marks a substantial improvement over the previous model, although it remains slightly thicker than some competitors like the Honor Magic V3 and Oppo Find N5.
The updated design resembles a wider version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, retaining the same camera bump and squared corners.
The device will boast an 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer display, both larger than those on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Despite the increase in screen size, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will maintain a 4,400 mAh battery. Other anticipated upgrades include a 200MP main camera, enhancing the device’s photography capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch in July, promising to deliver a more refined and competitive foldable experience.
