Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series is rumored to feature 65W fast charging and new silicon-carbon anode batteries, according to leaks.

These advancements aim to deliver longer battery life and faster charging speeds without increasing device size.

The silicon-carbon battery technology allows higher energy storage than traditional lithium-ion batteries.

This upgrade could enable the Galaxy S26 Ultra to house a 5,500 mAh battery while maintaining its slim design.

Although 65W charging lags behind competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo, which offer 100W speeds, it marks a significant improvement over the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 45W limit.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series launches on January 22, 2025, where details about its battery and charging specs will be confirmed.

The Galaxy S26, expected to launch next year, could steal the spotlight with these rumored enhancements.
