Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Slim is generating buzz as its firmware has been spotted across multiple regions, signaling the device’s development is progressing rapidly.
While Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 will likely unveil the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, the S25 Slim is not expected to make an appearance at the event.
The firmware for the Galaxy S25 Slim (model number SM-S937B) was discovered on servers in several European and Asian regions, including India and the UAE.
The test build, running One UI 7, carries the firmware version S937BXXU0AYA5/S937BOXM0AYA5/S937BXXU0AYA5. This finding further solidifies the existence of the Galaxy S25 Slim, which was recently seen in leaked renders.
Rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 Slim will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 6.6-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a powerful camera setup.
The device is expected to boast a 200MP primary camera, accompanied by two 50MP sensors for telephoto and ultrawide capabilities.
While the S25 Slim won’t share the spotlight at the upcoming Unpacked event, its firmware sightings and rumored specifications suggest it could be a standout addition to the Galaxy S25 series.
Fans of Samsung’s Slim lineup may not have to wait much longer for an official announcement.
