Samsung has officially teased the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, confirming months of rumors about an Ultra variant for its foldable lineup.
The Fold7 Ultra will launch later this year alongside the standard Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE, with all models expected at an in-person event in New York in early July 2025.
The teaser reveals a thinner design than previous models, though exact measurements are not yet confirmed. It will likely be slimmer than the Z Fold6 (5.6mm) and the Z Fold Special Edition (4.9mm) when unfolded.
Samsung is also promising a “best-in-class camera” for the Fold7 Ultra — a bold claim considering the competition from devices like the vivo X Fold3 Pro.
The Ultra model was rumored to launch last year but was delayed. Instead, Samsung released the Z Fold Special Edition in South Korea and China, which featured 8-inch and 6.5-inch displays, a 200MP main camera, and 16GB of RAM in a lighter, thinner body.
More details are expected in the coming weeks as Samsung builds hype toward its July event.
