Sabrina Carpenter headlined the final night of Lollapalooza 2025 on August 3 at Chicago’s Grant Park with a dazzling performance that mixed disco, pop, and viral charm. The Grammy winner stunned fans by bringing out legendary funk group Earth, Wind & Fire for a surprise collaboration.

Together, they performed the band’s classic hits “Let’s Groove” and “September,” turning the T-Mobile stage into a joyful disco celebration. Carpenter, dressed in a sparkling pink romper and white boots, danced and sang alongside the group, blending her pop sound with their timeless R&B energy.

The moment paid tribute to the disco influences in her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend, which is set to release on August 29. The crowd erupted as horns blared and Carpenter kept the energy high.

Another standout moment came when Carpenter spotted K-pop stars Sana, Jihyo, and Momo of TWICE in the front row. In a playful skit, she “arrested” them with fuzzy pink handcuffs for being “too hot.” The light-hearted exchange quickly went viral and showcased her admiration for the group, which she previously covered in a 2018 performance.

Her 17-song set included chart-topping tracks like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” “Bed Chem,” and “Manchild.” Carpenter teased her new album’s tracklist on massive LED screens and changed into a retro white fringe outfit that shimmered under the stage lights. One highlight was her sultry mashup of “Bed Chem” with Ginuwine’s “Pony,” drawing loud cheers.

Fireworks closed her performance during “Espresso,” bringing the four-day festival to a spectacular end. Fans online praised her set as “genre-bending” and “unforgettable,” while the Earth, Wind & Fire feature was called a “cultural reset.” Some attendees raised concerns about overcrowding, but overall, Carpenter’s show was widely hailed as the festival’s biggest triumph.

Lollapalooza 2025 ran from July 31 to August 3, featuring other top acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, The Creator, and TWICE.
