Rogue Prince of Persia

Developer Evil Empire has announced The Second Act, a major update for Rogue Prince of Persia launching on November 21, 2024.

This free update significantly enhances the roguelike, doubling its size with fresh content and refined design choices.

Key features include:

  • New biomes and bosses
  • An extended story with additional narrative polish for Act 1
  • New enemies and expanded localization (German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish)
  • Quality-of-life updates, such as multiple save slots

Palette Overhaul
The update also introduces a revamped art direction. To better align with the game’s vibrant new palette, the Prince’s signature purple hue has been replaced, a decision that has sparked debate among fans.

The Second Act is part of Evil Empire’s ongoing effort to refine Rogue Prince of Persia as it remains in early access. Stay tuned for more updates as the game continues to evolve.
