Rockstar Games has confirmed five side activities in Grand Theft Auto VI, showing the game will offer more than just car chases and crime. These activities give players more ways to explore and enjoy Vice City at their own pace.
1. Working Out and Fighting
Trailers show main characters Jason and Lucia working out. Jason lifts weights on the beach, and Lucia trains with a punching bag. Developers have confirmed that fighting will be important, and Lucia is described as a trained fighter.
Players expect workouts to improve strength, speed, and appearance—just like in GTA: San Andreas.
2. Fishing
Fishing is back. Promo images show coral reefs and swampy wetlands, suggesting players can relax and fish in different spots. Rockstar has not confirmed all fishing locations yet, but the activity is expected to be part of the open world.
3. Mini-Golf
Mini-golf will return in GTA 6. It appeared in older games like San Andreas and GTA IV but was left out in GTA V. This time, Rockstar brings back the fun and casual version of golf that fans enjoyed.
4. Pool and Bar Games
Players will be able to play pool in bars across Vice City. Rockstar has also confirmed other games like darts and drinking. These social features match the new focus on clubs and nightlife in the game.
5. Hunting
Hunting will also be part of the game. With many weapons available, players can expect to hunt animals. Fans hope the system will include pelt quality, like in Red Dead Redemption 2, where using the right weapon affects the value of the hide.
GTA 6 is shaping up to be more than just action and crime. These side activities show Rockstar’s effort to make Vice City a more interactive and realistic world.
