Redmi Turbo 4 with Dimensity 8400 Shows Strong Performance in Geekbench Tests

The Redmi Turbo 4 is set to launch in early January 2025 as the first device to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset.

This upper-midrange SoC is noteworthy for its all big-core CPU design, a first for this segment, making it an exciting development for tech enthusiasts.

Benchmark results for the Dimensity 8400 have now surfaced on Geekbench, revealing impressive scores.

The Redmi Turbo 4 prototype, equipped with 16GB of RAM and running Android 15, scored 1,642 in the single-core test and 6,056 in the multi-core test.

The CPU configuration includes one core at 3.25 GHz, three cores at 3 GHz, and four cores at 2.1 GHz, all based on Cortex-A725 cores.

The phone is expected to be rebranded internationally as the Poco X7 Pro, giving users around the world access to this new chipset.

While benchmarks are not always indicative of real-world performance, these numbers suggest that the Dimensity 8400 will offer strong performance for the upper-midrange market.
