Redmi Turbo 4 Series to Feature New Chipsets

Redmi is working on two new Turbo 4 phones, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. The phones, Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro, will feature unreleased chipsets.

The Turbo 4 is expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400, while the Turbo 4 Pro may feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both phones will have flat displays, keeping up with recent design trends.

The phones are said to include advanced battery technology. They could feature batteries with over 6,000 mAh capacity without making the phones bulky.

The Turbo series is a high-performance spin-off from the Redmi Note Turbo lineup. It aims to sit between Redmi’s flagship K-series and mid-range Note series.

The Turbo 3 used Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, so the Turbo 4’s upgrade to a fourth-generation chipset seems logical.

Some believe the Redmi K70E, which had Dimensity 8300, might shift to the Turbo series as the Turbo 4. This could give it a fresh name for the Chinese market.

Globally, the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro may launch under the Poco brand. For example, the Redmi Turbo 3 launched internationally as Poco F6.

More details will likely emerge closer to the launch. Fans can expect competitive performance and large batteries in the Turbo 4 series.
