Red Dead Redemption 2 Hides a Secret Area Few Players Have Seen

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a large secret area outside the normal game world that most players never explore. This area is the region of Mexico, which Rockstar Games fully modeled but does not allow players to visit during regular gameplay.

While players can reach Mexico using mods on PC or glitches on consoles, the area is mostly empty and barren. However, some wildlife and scripted events still appear there, creating a strange feeling that the area is both accessible and off-limits.

This hidden zone raises questions about why Rockstar went to the effort of building it if players were never meant to explore it. For those curious, videos like Shesez’s Boundary Break reveal more about this mysterious part of the game and what lies beyond the usual map boundaries.

If you want to see it yourself, PC players can use mods to spawn in Mexico, while console players need to use glitches to go out of bounds.
