Realme has confirmed that the GT 7 will launch globally on May 27, and the company is focusing heavily on battery performance as a key feature.
The global version of the Realme GT 7 will include a 7,000mAh battery. While slightly smaller than the 7,200mAh version in China, it makes up for it with faster 120W wired charging—an upgrade from the Chinese model’s 100W.
Realme claims the phone can charge fully in just 40 minutes. In addition, the phone features what Realme calls the “IceSense” design, which includes a graphene-infused rear panel. This is said to help with cooling the chipset while keeping the device strong and light.
Although the exact processor (SoC) is still unknown, more details are expected before the launch. Realme has also released a white paper in partnership with TÜV Rheinland, titled “The Future of Battery Tech.” It highlights the GT 7’s AI battery health management, smart charging, and advanced heat dissipation, which together aim to improve safety and battery lifespan.
Realme also mentioned they are developing a 320W charging system, which could charge a phone in under five minutes, though this tech is not expected to debut in the GT 7.
With a massive battery, fast charging, and advanced cooling, the Realme GT 7 is shaping up to be a strong option in the mid-2025 smartphone market.
