PS5 Pro Liquid Metal Update

It’s been a long time coming, but Sony has finally confirmed a highly requested feature for the PlayStation 5. Soon, you’ll be able to pair your DualSense controller with multiple devices — and fans couldn’t be happier.

The announcement came via PlayStation’s official Twitter, with the company teasing that more details will be shared soon. While we don’t know exactly how far this will go, many expect that it’ll allow players to connect the same controller to a PS5, PC, and potentially even smartphones or tablets without having to constantly unpair and repair.

For gamers who use Remote Play or enjoy PlayStation games on PC, this is huge news. Right now, using a DualSense on multiple devices is frustrating, often requiring repeated setup. With PlayStation’s cloud streaming and growing PC library, this improvement makes perfect sense.

Players have been quick to celebrate the news online:

  • Yes, please! It’d be great to use my DualSense with Remote Play on my phone without having to re-pair every time!” one fan posted.
  • Another said: “Now this is an update I can get behind!

Sony says the update will arrive later this year, with more information expected soon. Hopefully, this means smoother transitions between devices and more versatility for what’s already one of the most popular controllers on the market.

Stay tuned for further updates as Sony rolls out this long-awaited feature.
