In September 2024, Carti launched merch bundles on his website. These bundles included clothing, CDs, and vinyls. The website stated that all products would ship within six months. That deadline is March 12, 2025. If the merch does not ship by then, customers can request refunds.
This creates a problem. If Carti does not release the album before the deadline, he cannot include the album on the CDs and vinyls. This could mean losing millions of dollars in refunds. Because of this, fans believe Carti will drop I AM MUSIC before March 12.
Spotify Billboards Add to the Hype
Recently, new billboards for I AM MUSIC appeared in major U.S. cities like Los Angeles and Miami. These billboards were posted by Spotify, making them seem official. Many of Carti’s affiliates also shared them online, suggesting that the rollout has begun.
Two Possible Release Dates
Fans have speculated two possible release dates: February 28 or March 7. However, Lady Gaga is also releasing her album on March 7, and since both artists share the same label, it is unlikely they will drop on the same day. This makes February 28 the most likely release date.
