A new leak shows that the upcoming Pixel 9a may look cheaper than earlier models. A short video reveals details of the Pixel 9a handset.
In the video, the rear panel seems to use low-cost materials compared to the Pixel 7a and Pixel 8a.
Google has not announced a release date for the Pixel 9a. Rumors suggest that the phone will come with high-end features like the Tensor G4 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 120Hz OLED screen. However, to lower costs, Google may use cheaper materials for the chassis and frame.
The video shows that the phone has a plastic look. The rear panel looks different from previous models because of the new camera bar design.
Some parts seem to have a “Nokia Lumia” plastic style. This plastic style may feel good in the hand, but many expect a more premium look.
The Pixel 9a is rumored to launch in late March. We will have to wait to see and test the device in person to make a full judgment on its design.
