After years of anticipation, Netflix UK has finally added Parenthood, the beloved family drama, to its streaming lineup.
All six seasons of the series, which aired from 2010 to 2015, are now available for UK viewers. The show, starring Craig T. Nelson, Peter Krause, and Lauren Graham, has been hailed as “the greatest family drama of all time.”
Originally based on the 1989 Ron Howard film, Parenthood follows three generations of the Braverman family in Berkeley, California.
The series, which was created by Jason Katims, is known for its emotional depth and strong performances, with notable cast members including Dax Shepard, Monica Potter, and Erika Christensen.
Parenthood was initially slated to be unavailable in the UK, but its arrival on Netflix comes nearly a year after its acquisition was announced.
Prior to this, the early seasons were only available for rent on platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
The series, which has earned critical acclaim over the years, also features a memorable guest performance by Jason Ritter, who received an Emmy nomination in 2012.
