Fans of One Piece will have to wait a bit longer before the remastered Fish-Man Island Saga concludes. Toei Animation has announced that the remaster series, titled One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, will be taking a brief hiatus.
After airing several episodes since its debut in November 2024, the show has hit a delay with Episode 19 (of 21 total planned episodes) now slated for release on March 16th, 2025, instead of March 9th as initially expected.
This remastered series, which revisits the original Fish-Man Island arc with upgraded visuals and audio, includes a variety of new edits. These include updated eyecatchers, remixed opening themes, and new ending themes.
Additionally, key moments have been modernized with newer techniques, such as the full visualization of Haki, enhancing the arc’s impact.
The remaster is part of a larger initiative to revamp earlier episodes of One Piece while gearing up for the return of the Egghead Arc.
The new arc will return with fresh episodes on April 6th, 2025. These episodes will kick off Part 2 of the Egghead storyline, and the anime will shift to a later time slot, 11:15 PM JST in Japan.
As fans eagerly await the new content, One Piece has promised an exciting conclusion to the Fish-Man Island remaster, and with the Egghead Arc following shortly, there’s no shortage of thrilling developments on the horizon.
