Olivia Rodrigo Speaks Out on Gaza Crisis: “No Child Deserves This”

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has publicly called for humanitarian support for the people of Gaza, expressing concern over the ongoing crisis in Palestine. In a recent Instagram Story, the 22-year-old singer said she was heartbroken by the suffering of innocent civilians caught in the conflict.

“There are no words that can describe the sadness I feel watching the destruction that has befallen innocent people in Palestine,” Rodrigo wrote.

She highlighted the severe conditions faced by families in Gaza, noting that many mothers, fathers, and children are starving, dehydrated, and without access to basic medical care or humanitarian aid.

Rodrigo also shared a broader message about the need to protect all children. “There are no children in Israel, Palestine, or anywhere in the world who deserve to suffer like this,” she said. “This is terrible and completely unacceptable. Giving up on them means giving up on our humanity together.”

The Drivers License singer revealed that she has donated to UNICEF to help support relief efforts in Gaza and encouraged others to do the same.

Olivia Rodrigo joins other American artists who have spoken out about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Singer Lana Del Rey has said she prays for Palestine daily, while Billie Eilish has publicly criticized Israel’s reported plans to forcibly relocate about two million Palestinians.

The crisis in Gaza has drawn widespread international concern, with many voices from the entertainment industry now calling for action to support victims and prevent further suffering.
