Nothing smartphones are now receiving one of Android’s most useful features of 2024—Circle to Search—via Nothing OS 3.0.

This update, which began rolling out earlier this month, brings the feature to the Nothing Phone 2, Phone 2a, and Phone 2a Plus.

Initially available on Samsung and Google smartphones, Circle to Search allows users to easily search for text, images, or objects by simply circling them on the screen.

With Nothing OS 3.0, this feature is now live for Phone 2 and Phone 2a owners, while Phone 2a Plus users can access it via the beta track.

For users who haven’t yet spotted Circle to Search on their devices, a simple phone reset may be required to activate it.

The feature is expected to expand to more Nothing phones in 2025, including those in Japan.

As the year wraps up, Nothing is continuing to lead the charge in delivering new Android features, offering an innovative, user-friendly experience with Circle to Search.
