Nothing is preparing to launch the Phone (3) series, including the flagship Nothing Phone (3) and two mid-range models, the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Plus.

A new leak reveals key details about the Phone (3a) ahead of its expected March 4 launch.

Larger Display and New Camera Setup

The Nothing Phone (3a) will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with 1080p+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it larger than previous Nothing mid-range models. The 32MP selfie camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout.

For the first time, Nothing may introduce a telephoto camera on its devices. The Phone (3a) will have a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, replacing the usual 50MP ultra-wide camera, which is now downgraded to 8MP. The main camera will also have a 50MP sensor, but details about it remain unclear.

Performance and Battery

The Phone (3a) will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a shift from the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro used in the Phone (2a). It will run on Nothing OS 3.1 (based on Android 15) and retain the Glyph lighting system.

The device is expected to include a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, matching the Phone (2a).

What’s Next?

The Phone (3a) Plus is rumored to feature a periscope telephoto lens, offering even greater zoom capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (3) is expected to have the best camera setup of the series, but details are still scarce.

With the March 4 launch event approaching, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei is likely to drop more teasers in the coming weeks.
