Nothing Phone (3) Design Leak Proven False as Official Teaser Drops

Nothing Phone 3 Glyph Matrix Official Teaser

Nothing has officially revealed the first look at its new “Glyph Matrix” lighting feature on the upcoming Nothing Phone (3), proving that a recent design leak was likely wrong.

In a new teaser video, the company introduced the “Glyph Matrix”, describing it as “when light becomes language.” Unlike the large glyph lights seen on previous models, this new setup is much smaller and positioned in the top right corner of the phone’s back.

This placement clearly shows that the earlier leaked design—which showed no lights and a different camera setup—does not match the real product. That leaked render had suggested a design with three cameras and a simpler back, leading to confusion about whether it was the Phone (3) or a possible Phone (3a) variant. Now, with the official teaser, it’s clear that leak was likely inaccurate.

Nothing is known for playing with leaks and teasers to build hype, so a fake or outdated design floating around wouldn’t be unusual.

While details about what the new “Glyph Matrix” will actually do are still unknown, fans can expect the full reveal when Nothing Phone (3) launches next month.

For now, it’s clear that Nothing is keeping its signature light-based design language but in a new, more compact form.
