President Donald Trump said that Bill Clinton visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, 28 times. Trump made the statement while denying that he ever visited the island himself. He told reporters, “You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island.”
However, there is no clear proof supporting Trump’s claim. Flight records from Epstein’s private jet show Clinton took at least 26 trips between 2001 and 2003. Most of these flights were for Clinton Foundation work and went to places in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The logs do not show any trips to the Caribbean island.
Clinton’s spokesperson has said that Clinton never visited Little St. James. Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein accuser, claimed she saw Clinton on the island once, but she did not accuse him of wrongdoing. Another Clinton aide said Clinton visited the island once, but Clinton’s team has provided travel records showing no such visit.
Clinton has admitted flying on Epstein’s plane four times, always with staff and Secret Service. He has denied knowing about Epstein’s crimes and said in his 2024 memoir that he wished he had never met Epstein.
Trump’s statement seems to confuse Clinton’s many jet flights with visits to Epstein’s island. Social media users have repeated the claim, but it is not backed by evidence. Secret Service records and travel logs do not confirm Clinton’s presence on the island.
The Epstein case remains controversial. While Prince Andrew’s visits to Epstein’s island are well documented, the same cannot be said for Clinton. Trump himself flew on Epstein’s jet several times but has denied ever going to the island.
