New leaks about the Nintendo Switch 2 have emerged, showcasing potential components and a patent for AI upscaling technology.
A patent filed by Nintendo in 2023 has surfaced, revealing plans to incorporate DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology into the Switch 2.
This AI-driven upscaling technology, developed by NVIDIA, enhances game graphics by generating additional frames to improve image quality. According to the patent, the Switch 2 will leverage this technology for better visuals.
In addition to the patent, leaked photos of what is believed to be the Switch 2’s motherboard have appeared online, with Reddit users claiming the images are authentic.
These leaks also suggest that the Switch 2 will be powered by NVIDIA hardware, aligning with previous rumors.
The photos show a second USB port on the device and confirm the inclusion of a new trigger-like button on the joy-con handles.
While these leaks are intriguing, both NVIDIA and Nintendo have not confirmed their authenticity, so fans should remain cautious until official details are revealed.
