A new leak surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 has sparked excitement among Mario Kart fans.

This is the second such leak this month, following an earlier rumor that a new Mario Kart game would not launch with the Switch 2 but instead arrive in 2025.

The latest leak comes from accessory manufacturers who have revealed a new Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, along with a surprising accessory: a steering wheel.

This is a throwback to the Wii era, where players used a similar steering wheel with the Wii Remote. The new accessory allows users to insert a Joy-Con, hinting at a racing game that may require it.

The presence of this steering wheel at the Switch 2’s launch suggests that a new Mario Kart game could be ready for release alongside the console.

While this remains speculative, the leak strengthens rumors that Mario Kart will be a key title for the Switch 2’s debut, potentially launching in the first half of 2025.

However, it’s important to note that none of this has been confirmed by Nintendo. The company has a strict “no comment” policy regarding rumors, so we’ll have to wait for official confirmation or further leaks to know more.

Stay tuned for updates on the Nintendo Switch 2 and all related rumors.
