Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1: Pacific Break

Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 1: Pacific Break is now well underway, bringing new Battle Pass skins, quests, weapons, and gameplay updates to the island.

If you’re wondering when the next patch is arriving, Epic Games has already confirmed the date for the upcoming update.

The next Fortnite update is scheduled for January 22, 2026. The information comes from Epic Games’ official 2026 update schedule, shared via Trello. Unless plans change, the update is expected to go live as planned.

This update is expected to be version v39.30. While Epic has not revealed full patch notes yet, players can likely expect new skins, fresh collaborations, and possible loot pool changes.

Epic often uses these mid‑season updates to rotate weapons, adjust balance, and quietly add files for future events or collaborations. One rumored addition in the current cycle includes new crossover content, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

Looking ahead, Chapter 7 Season 1 will feature multiple major updates:

  • January 22 – v39.30
  • February 5 – v39.40
  • February 19 – v39.50

Players still have plenty of time to progress through the season. Chapter 7 Season 1 will end on March 4, 2026, making it a standard‑length Fortnite season.

Epic typically begins teasing the next season during the final two weeks, so official details for Chapter 7 Season 2 are likely still a few weeks away.

Until then, players can focus on completing Battle Pass challenges, unlocking rewards, and preparing for upcoming content drops as Epic continues to roll out updates and hotfixes.
