Fans of Terminator 2: Judgment Day have something exciting to look forward to. A new game called Terminator 2D: No Fate has just been announced, and it’s set to launch later this year.
Developed by Bitmap Bureau, the studio behind Xeno Crisis and Final Vendetta, the game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 5th, 2025.
The game brings the classic action of Terminator 2 into a retro-inspired side-scrolling format. The trailer shows off stunning pixel art, which brings key moments from the movie to life with modern colors and details. This pixel art style is reminiscent of 90s games but with much more depth.
In Terminator 2D: No Fate, players can take control of two iconic characters: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 and Sarah Connor. The game will feature thrilling missions where players fight the T-1000 and attempt to stop Skynet from destroying humanity.
Fans of the movie will recognize many scenes, but the game also includes new moments and multiple endings, giving players a chance to shape the fate of the human race.
The game promises an engaging mix of familiar movie scenes and original storylines, offering an exciting adventure for both new players and long-time fans of the Terminator franchise.
