New RPG ExeKiller Blends Cyberpunk, Fallout, and Red Dead Redemption Vibes

83

A new RPG titled ExeKiller is coming later this year, and it’s shaping up to be a fascinating blend of various genres, with influences from Fallout, Red Dead Redemption, and Cyberpunk 2077. If you’re a fan of any of these games, this new title could be right up your alley.

A Retro Futuristic Western with a Twist

ExeKiller is described as a “retro futuristic western game,” combining elements of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a dystopian future, and classic western vibes.

It’s set in an alternate reality where humanity has been decimated, and the world has turned into a scorched wasteland. The story follows the player’s quest for survival in a semi-open world.

Inspirations Galore

The game immediately gives off Cyberpunk 2077 vibes with its futuristic settings and vehicles, while the overall atmosphere and world design scream Fallout.

Fans of Red Dead Redemption will likely feel at home with the western theme that permeates the gameplay. ExeKiller clearly takes the best elements from these beloved titles and mashes them into one thrilling experience.

Gameplay Features

ExeKiller promises a first-person, action-adventure experience with a multi-choice story. There’s no traditional XP or leveling up. Instead, you’ll enhance your character through mods and augments, which will make each playthrough unique.

Players will be able to choose between a full-on aggressive approach or a more stealthy one, allowing for various playstyles. The lack of a set XP system and the focus on character modifications ensures that no two runs will be the same, giving the game replayability and depth.

Visual Style and Tone

The visual design of ExeKiller is bold and approachable, promising a visually rich world with a unique dystopian vibe. Although we don’t have a concrete release date yet, the Steam listing mentions a vague “2025,” meaning it might be a while before we get our hands on it.

ExeKiller is shaping up to be a standout RPG, blending futuristic western aesthetics with a dystopian narrative.

The mix of inspirations from Fallout, Red Dead Redemption, and Cyberpunk offers something for fans of many different genres. Be sure to wishlist it on Steam to stay updated!
