New Meta Ray-Ban Glasses to Feature AR Display in 2025

Meta is reportedly set to release updated Ray-Ban smart glasses in 2025, featuring a “single small in-lens screen” for basic notifications and information.

This addition could greatly enhance the glasses’ functionality, offering a glimpse into the future of augmented reality (AR).

While Meta has not officially confirmed the details, leaked information suggests that the glasses may launch alongside a sensor wristband for controlling AR devices, including the Meta Orion AR glasses, expected in 2027.

The major concern with adding a display is the potential impact on battery life, as the current model offers around four hours of usage.

However, Meta is likely working on improved battery technology to address this issue. Additionally, maintaining the stylish design of the Ray-Ban glasses while integrating new features will be crucial.

If Meta can balance these factors, the upgraded glasses could become a major player in the wearable tech market, offering both style and functionality.
