New K-Pop Competition KPopped Brings Together Megan Thee Stallion, Psy, and More

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for KPopped, a new eight-part K-pop competition series set to premiere on August 29, 2025.

The show features K-pop stars and Western music icons working together to create new versions of famous hits. The performances will take place live in Seoul, where the audience will vote for the best new “K-popped” song.

The series stars K-pop groups like BILLIE, Itzy, KEP1ER, JO1, Ateez, STAYC, Kiss of Life, and Blackswan. Western artists featured include Megan Thee Stallion, Patti LaBelle, Mel B and Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls, Vanilla Ice, Taylor Dayne, Kesha, Eve, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, TLC, Boy George, Jess Glynne, Ava Max, and Boyz II Men.

The show is hosted by comedian Soojeong Son and is executive produced by Moira Ross, Lionel Richie, Megan Thee Stallion, Psy, and others.

KPopped offers a unique celebration of music, blending K-pop with Western hits like “Savage,” “Wannabe,” “Ice Ice Baby,” “Lady Marmalade,” and more.
