The new Harry Potter HBO series has finally revealed its young stars, and they are expected to earn life-changing paychecks.
Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry Potter, joined by Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. They will act alongside well-known stars like John Lithgow and Nick Frost.
Experts say the new trio could start with pay of around £1 million per series. Their earnings might grow to between £10 million and £20 million each by the final season. This follows the path of Daniel Radcliffe, who earned £1 million for the first Harry Potter film and went on to make around £50 million for the last movies.
Even actors with smaller roles, like Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy, earned millions — around £14 million — proving the huge value of the Harry Potter franchise.
Filming is expected to begin this summer, with the first series scheduled for release in 2026. Francesca Gardiner is the showrunner and executive producer, and Mark Mylod will direct multiple episodes.
Gardiner and Mylod praised the new young actors after a large casting search. They said the trio’s talent is remarkable, and they look forward to sharing their magic with fans worldwide.
By the time the show airs, these young stars could already have millions in the bank, making their casting a dream come true for their families.
