New Cast Members Revealed for One Piece Season 2

One Piece fans are in for a treat as Joe Manganiello and Lera Abova join the cast for Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action adaptation.

During Netflix’s Geeked Week 2024, the new cast members were revealed, and a behind-the-scenes teaser offered a glimpse of the upcoming season.

Manganiello and Abova were featured alongside other cast members, including executive producer Matt Owens and actor Jeff Ward, during a live event in Atlanta, Georgia.

Manganiello will portray Mr. O, while Abova takes on the role of Miss All-Sunday (Nico Robin). Fans are excited about the casting choices, especially with Abova’s earlier posts teasing her transformation into Robin, a character beloved by fans for her intelligence and calm demeanor.

Other major additions to the cast include Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/Nefertari Vivi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra.

The new season will delve deeper into the Arabasta Arc, with key characters such as Dr. Kureha and Vivi playing pivotal roles.

Filming for One Piece Season 2 is already underway in South Africa, and the season will cover significant locations from the manga, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, and Drum Island.

While the premiere date is still to be announced, fans can expect the season to debut in 2025.
