Netflix Renews Shane Gillis’ Comedy Tires for Season 3 After Surprise Hit

Netflix has officially renewed its breakout comedy series Tires for a third season, confirming the next chapter of the show will arrive in 2026.

Starring comedian Shane Gillis, Tires quickly became a sleeper hit for the platform. Though made on a modest budget, the show has performed better than many bigger Netflix titles across its first two seasons. Its second season, released nearly a month ago, continues to rank on the Netflix Top 10 TV Shows list, showing impressive staying power.

Tires was created by Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever. Gerben stars alongside Gillis as Will, the manager of an auto repair shop, while McKeever directs the series. The core cast also includes Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias.

Season 2 expanded the show’s reach with a lineup of high-profile guest stars, including Thomas Haden Church, Vince Vaughn, Jon Lovitz, and Ron White. Church’s recurring role as Gillis’ character’s father has set up major storylines for the future.

While Netflix hasn’t confirmed the episode count for Season 3, fans can likely expect a similar structure to Season 2, which doubled the six-episode run of the first season.

As Tires rolls toward another season, its continued success proves that clever writing, sharp humor, and a loyal audience can keep a low-cost comedy at the top of Netflix’s lineup.
