MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) recently responded to an accusation from a social media user who claimed that the full prize amount wasn’t sent to the winner of Beast Games Season 1.
The winner, Jeffrey Randall Allen (Player #831), secured a total of $10,004,244 after the grand finale aired on February 13, 2025.
On February 14, MrBeast posted a screenshot of the $10 million wire transfer sent to Allen, captioned, “Just bank wired the winner of Beast Games $10,000,000 lol.”
This led one X user (@NemTudo) to question why the total winnings of $10,004,244 shown on the show were not fully reflected in the bank transfer.
MrBeast swiftly responded, explaining that the total amount won was distributed over different episodes.
He clarified, “Each episode is a separate transaction! So that $4k was paid for episode 8, and the $10M was paid in the episode 10 batch.”
Total Prize Pool and Prizes Given Out
MrBeast’s show, which aired on Prime Video, had a massive $25 million prize pool, with 85 participants receiving cash prizes and rewards.
The total distribution also included a $4.2 million giveaway in partnership with MoneyLion.
The final episode revealed that all 1,000 participants (with an additional 1,000 in the preliminary round on YouTube) were awarded $2,000 each, totaling $25,019,995 in prize money.
MrBeast has hinted that a second season of Beast Games may be in the works, possibly with Prime Video again.
