‘MobLand’ Renewed for Season 2 After Massive Success on Paramount+

Paramount+ has officially renewed its crime drama series MobLand for a second season after a highly successful debut earlier this year.

The show, starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, premiered in March 2025 and quickly became one of the platform’s biggest hits. Within its first 70 days, MobLand attracted over 26 million viewers worldwide, making it the second most popular original series on Paramount+, just behind Landman.

MobLand follows the story of the Harrigan family, a powerful London crime organization, and their dangerous fixer Harry Da Souza (played by Hardy), as they face threats from police and rival gangs.

The show has remained in Nielsen’s Top 10 Streaming Originals for five straight weeks and holds a 75% score on Rotten Tomatoes, earning praise from both fans and critics.

Paramount+ executives credited executive producer Guy Ritchie and writers Jez Butterworth and Ronan Bennett for creating a global success. They confirmed that Season 2 will continue the story, which left viewers with major cliffhangers at the end of Season 1.

Fans can expect more intense drama, twists, and character conflicts when the new season arrives.
